Top Tip When setting up your new blades in the clipper, please remember, that due to the small fluctuations in size and brand the blades don't always fit the same way in different clippers. To get over this problem all that needs to be done is to make sure the bottom blade is overhanging the top blade by around 1mm to avoid nicking the horse. The easiest way to do this is usually by inserting a plastic card between the back of the blades and the clipper body when tightening them up (as shown in the photo below).
